Return & Refund Policy
At The Sun-Soaked Shelf, we take great care to grow, prepare, and pack every plant before dispatch. Because our plants are live, growing specimens that are sensitive to changing environments (as are all plants), we don't offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, simple change of heart, or post-delivery care issues.
You are always protected under Australian Consumer Law, and if a plant arrives significantly damaged or unwell, please get in touch within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the plant and packaging so we can take care of it for you. I want you to be happy with your new plants.
Please note that natural variations in shape or colour, minor cosmetic marks, and temporary transit stress are a normal part of receiving live plants. We're unable to cover plant decline caused by post-delivery care, watering habits, or environmental changes once they're settling into their new home.
DELIVERY DETAILS
At The Sun-Soaked Shelf, every plant is packed with care to ensure it arrives healthy and happy. We use secure packaging and thoughtful preparation to protect your plants during transit, so unboxing is a positive experience from start to finish.
To minimise the time plants spend in transit, all orders are dispatched on Mondays only, helping to avoid parcels being held over the weekend. While delivery times are managed by Australia Post and are outside of our direct control, we take every possible step on our end to prepare, pack, and lodge your order promptly and carefully.
Delivery Details Responsibility
To help your plants arrive safely, please double-check that your delivery details are accurate and complete at checkout.
While we take every care in preparing your parcel for its journey, we aren't able to cover delays, missing packages, or redelivery fees if an address was entered incorrectly or a pickup was missed. If a parcel needs to be resent due to a delivery hiccup, any additional postage costs will need to be covered by the buyer.
Delivery to different states
The Sun-Soaked Shelf operates as a small business offering carefully grown plants within Western Australia, with delivery available across the Perth metro area. If you’re located outside WA (or internationally), there’s still a way to purchase — we’re happy to work with trusted Plant Concierge services who can handle quarantine and shipping requirements on your behalf. If this is something you’d like to explore, feel free to get in touch and we can guide you through the process.
For non-plant items like crystals and macramé, we offer shipping across Australia and internationally with no restrictions.
